TopIntroduction

The French Opta Edition, consisting of 15 titles, and 24 printings, was published between between 1975 and 1986 by Opta. The edition features the artwork of: Jean-Pierre Stholl, François Allot, Philippe Adamov, Lan-Zaren, Claude Fritsch, Gérard Duboscq and Jean-Louis Verdier. The first two hardcovers were bundles, each containing two Gor novels. The covers can be organized in a hardcover series and a softcover series, each with different cover art and design.

The French Opta Aventures Fantastiques Series was published as a numbered edition, with a limited number of copies:

The total number of copies is 34,110.

Most of these books (perhaps even all) contained interior artwork, but up to now, we have only found examples from Le Tarnier de Gor, Le Banni de Gor and Les Explorateurs de Gor.
