The publication history of John Norman in the United Kingdom begins in 1969 with the release of Tarnsman of Gor by the Londen based publisher Sidgewick and Jackson. The next two years Outlaw of Gor and Priest-Kings of Gor are published, followed in 1972 by a hardcover Gor Omnibus containing the first three volumes.
The respected old publishing house Sidgewick & Jackson, Ltd., currently residing at Brunel Road, Houndmills, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 6XS, was founded on November 2, 1908 and is still active as an imprint of publishing company Pan Macmillan.
The Sidgwick & Jackson Series was published between 1969 and 1972. The series consists of 4 books.
